Whether your samples are biological, agricultural or environmental in nature, Fisher BioServices offers the appropriate specimen collection materials including collection kits, with customized specimen label and kit design; clinical sample collection supplies; IATA-compliant shipping kits for distribution to clinical sites or patients.
Experienced, reliable, & quality kits
FBS has customized standard operating procedures (SOP) (including QC procedures) for assembly of kits for each study requesting this service. The procedures developed follow all local, state, and federal regulations.
Kits sent to clinical sites can include labeled visits (including tubes and caps) or Vacutainers for blood, urine collection or other biosample containers, return shipping systems/containers (including all necessary labels for application to the outside of the container), a pre-printed FedEx air bill, and instructions on how to prepare the shipment at the study site for return of specimens to the biosample repository.
Efficient Distribution & shipping
FBS will ship blood, serum, urine, and stool kits directly to designated sites. FBS will notify the study site when kits are ready to ship, obtaining confirmation of receipt from the site and notifying the customer by phone or email if a delay is expected.
